Meet the Executive Team

Ajay

Founder, President, and mastermind behind the JangoMail service, Ajay had the insight long ago to recognize the need for existing databases to go one step further into direct email capability. Known for innovative ideas, Ajay is also our resident vampire. It seems that inspiration is at its finest in the wee hours of the morning. Not limited to technical expertise, Ajay enjoys extensive travel, so it's not unusual to find him at the far corners of the globe. Luckily, modern technology means he can't ever really hide from us, no matter how hard he seems to try. Airplanes also mean quality thinking time. We can always count on a flurry of new feature ideas each time he hits the tarmac. Ajay is a member of the Chicago Entrepreneur's Organization, graduate of Case Western University and past President of Centerville High School's debate team, for what it's worth. He has a gavel and everything!

Anne

As our Sales Director, Anne gets to know most of our customers as they first explore the JangoMail service. Anne has a special talent for hearing the results people want to see from JangoMail and guiding them to the array of features that fit their particular needs. A true ambassador for our brand, Anne puts the personal touch on a self-service system. She's been known to sneak in some emails in the middle of the night too, just to get that question answered as quickly as she can. Another world traveler among us, ask Anne anything you want in Italian. She may be a bit rusty, but is still quite fluent. A graduate of the University of Washington, Anne always makes sure to grab some time to seek balance in meditation and is also an insightful personal and professional Coach.

Chris

Postmaster "General" for JangoMail, Chris is the go-to guru on all things delivery-related. Chris uses his technical expertise and artistry to guide us through the fortifications protecting the well-guarded Inbox. Our resident engineering thinker, Chris excels in finding and exploring all levels of endlessly fascinating minutiae…of course, we are listening, Chris! Chris is a graduate of Bethel University and now works from JangoMail's delivery-central in Minnesota. Ever-happy in a nice, dark room, long Minnesota winters have Chris lost deep on a quest in the World of Warcraft. Who's your WoW avatar, Chris?

Jim

Head of Support, Jim is the technical expert with all the answers. Jim came to us with a strong background in systems administration and end user support, making him the perfect bridge between our technology and customers. With an ability to work from just about any location with high speed internet, we'll often find Jim dancing to the beat of the samba in Brazil. He's recently explored an expanded dance repertoire, visiting Argentina to check out the tango. On the beach in Rio, grab a cup of coffee and have a nice chat in Portuguese. Jim is a graduate of the University of Arizona and veteran of the US Air Force.

Kim

Director of Operations, Kim's been around JangoMail since we launched in 2001. This probably explains why you'll find her hand in nearly everything around here on the customer side of things. Today, Kim's focus is on helping all of the JangoMail teams coordinate and keep their focus on the customer, providing the best support from "real people" that you can find behind such a technology-driven service. She's still trying to figure out how to deliver chocolate through the interface, because we all know that chocolate is what makes the world go round. Don't look too closely at that package in her office. She says it's a present for the kids, but Kim's secretly hooked on Fisher-Price Little People playsets. A graduate of Hanover College, Kim points to her over-stuffed bookcase as her true addiction to reading.

Melissa

Director of Marketing, Melissa is our resident advertising expert. Melissa guides our online campaigns, coordinates press releases, watches for marketing opportunities, and generally makes sure the rest of the world knows just how great we are! See the JangoMail T-shirt jogging by? She may be training for another marathon. Sam’s the puppy who keeps Melissa company in the park—a whippet that’s just a tad spoiled. If you hear him barking in the background, he’s cold and demanding to be tucked in with a blanket. Melissa is a graduate of Boston College and is learning how to be a Texan now that she’s in Austin.

Sarah

Director of Accounting, Sarah makes us mind our manners and check our numbers twice. She keeps an eye on the dollar side of things, and works hard to help us customize service for customers with special needs. A southern belle from everywhere and nowhere all at the same time, Sarah shares a birthday with Mickey Mouse and, quite coincidentally, with Jim in Support. Prepare for a Mexican fiesta at lunchtime, no tortilla is safe with Sarah around. A graduate of Lee University, Sarah came to us from Right Management Consultants where she coordinated services for displaced workers looking for new opportunities. Sarah's guilty pleasure? She's addicted to So You Think You Can Dance.
