This video shows you how to configure the JangoMail SMTP Relay for use on a Web Server.

  1. Make sure you have a mail sending script on your server.
  2. In JangoMail, click Settings then SMTP Relay.
  3. Click the Authenticate by IP Address button.
  4. Enter the IP Address of the server and then click Add New IP Address.
  5. In your email sending script, change the host to relay.jangosmtp.net.
  6. Make sure AltBody is set to "auto-generate". This will generate both HTML and plain text versions of your email.
  7. Run the script.
  8. After the email has been sent, you can track the results using JangoMail's reporting. Click Reports.
  9. Click Transactional Emails.
  10. Click Actions. This will list your Transactional Emails and show the Clicks and Opens.
