We are thrilled to announce the launch of JangoMail's integration with Google Analytics. Our integration is one of the most advanced and customizable Google Analytics integrations in the the e-mail marketing industry.
Overview:
JangoMail’s integration with Google Analytics allows you to track web site activity that results from JangoMail e-mail campaigns using Google’s free Analytics tool. You can determine precisely where a user moves throughout your web site after having clicked a link to your site in an e-mail campaign. Google Analytics tells you what pages your visitors are viewing most frequently, how long they're spending on your site, their points of entry/exit, how successful your e-mail campaigns are in converting mere visitors into purchasers on your web site, and more. The integration provides deep analytic capabilities with searching, filtering, charts/graphs, goal-setting, path and funnel analysis of your web site.
JangoMail has always had its own Web Site Activity Tracking feature, which also allows you track a recipient's movement through your web sites after clicking a link in your e-mail campaign, but using Google Analytics provides deeper analytical capabilities and better visual reports than does JangoMail's inherent feature. Nevertheless, JangoMail's inherent web site activity tracking still has some benefits over Google Analytics, and therefore we recommend using both features for the best of both worlds. Below is a chart comparing JangoMail's Web Site Activity Tracking to JangoMail's integration with Google Analytics.
