Autoresponders

Autoresponders allow email messages to be sent with our server to members of your list at designated intervals after they are added to your list. New members can join your list by filling out a sign up form on your web site or by sending an email to your JangoMail account. You, as the account administrator, can also manually add members to your list. You have full control over the members of your list, and when email messages are sent with our list server.

The Situations:

  • You need to send a new subscriber a greeting email immediately upon sign up.
  • You have emails that you need to send to a new member 1 week, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks after the member joins.
  • You send a weekly follow-up email to all new list members.
For situations like these, JangoMail autoresponders can use our list server to send emails at specific time intervals after an email address is added to your list.

The Solution:

Create a JangoMail Group to store your members, then create autoresponders to automatically send email at a designated time interval after members join the Group.



You can set this to be an exact time interval after joining. For example:

  • Send a greeting exactly 1 hour after a new member joins.
  • Send a reminder at 9 AM, exactly 3 days after a new member joins.
  • Need to respond immediately? Set your Autoresponder to send 0 hours after joining.
